When compared to PC Decrapifier, this program also removes left over information in registry after software uninstall much like to Revo Uninstaller.
Decrap my Computer claims to remove bloatware from new branded PCs from makers like Asus, HP, Dell, Toshiba ,etc. Decrap takes 1-5 minutes for initial setup which did analyze your system and creates cache files for its optimization. The program creates backups of registry, so that you can undo the changes by restoring them.
Using Decrap: Once the program is ready, it generates and shows installed software list on your computer. Here, program only shows paths of executable instead of their icons. Decrap classifies installed software into different sections-Automatically staring software, desktop items, drivers and other probability important software, start menu items., third party software and Windows related software.
Third party software is one you need to look into and you can skip remaining items. Select the programs you want to uninstall in third party software section and click “Next” button for the program to create restore point before uninstall.
Decrap offers the option to uninstall programs in unattended fashion( lets you run in fully automatic mode), when this mode was selected, the program will automatically click the buttons for the uninstallers and automatically cleans the registry once the uninstallation completes.
Manual mode of cleaning registry for left overs is also available where you can able to review the registry files and remove them. This program is based on Jv16 PowerTools and works on Windows XP/Vista/7/8.
