Chrome now lets you Set any URL as Homepage by dragging It onto Home button on Toolbar

You’ll be surprised to know this: Google Chrome till now doesn’t allows to drag and drop any web address onto home button on toolbar to make it a homepage, where Firefox has this feature since ages. Better late than never!, latest update for Chrome dev. channel brings this feature.

To test this feature, first make sure Home button is on Chrome toolbar by selecting settings from Chrome menu and under appearance check “Show Home button”.

Now try to drag and drop favicon next to domain name in the URL bar, take for instance Google.com, Chrome shows the pop up message “your homepage has been set. with Undo “ button.

Setting any site as homepage is more intuitive this way than visiting Chrome settings page.
