VirusTotal Adds Malwarebytes to its Antivirus Engines List

VirusTotal, the free online virus, malware and URL scanning service which recently has taken over by Google has added Malwarebytes to its antivirus engines list. That means whenever you upload a file in VT Malwarebytes will be used one of engines to scan for viruses. Now the total antivirus scan engines list including Malwarebytes for file checking has reached to 46 and this number continues to grow as VT continues to add more engines to the list.

For the Uninitiated “VirusTotal is a free service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware.”

Metascan online has 40 engines and it is much faster
