Version 6.2.3 for Notepad++ being said by developer as (possible) End of World edition has been released and available for download. Notepad++ 6.2.3 has fixed bugs in v6.2.2 and added few new features, notable are addition of ability to remove empty lines and “delete file” command has been changed to “Move to Recycle Bin”.
To remove empty lines in a text file opened in Notepad++, from Edit menu in program choose “Remove Empty Lines” from sub menu of “Line Operations’.
To move current opened file to recycle bin, right click on tab and select Move to Recycle bin or you can select same command from File menu also.
In previous versions Delete file command deletes the file from disk without sending to Recycle bin, this version moves deleted file to Recycle bin, from there you can delete the file permanently from your Computer, need to wait & see will this turn out to be useful or annoying feature for users?.
