Snap2HTML is a freeware portable app allows to create snapshots of folder structures in hard drive and and saves them in HTML format which you can view in tree view like in File Explorer. You can’t take backup of files and folders for sure with this utility but you can backup list of files and folders in an HTML file which you can email to your friend or support staff so he can understand what’s installed/the problem in your Computer.
Download the program zip file, extract its contents to a folder and run Snap2HML executable. Select the root folder it can be program files or Windows or what ever click Create Folder Snapshot and type the file name you want to save and click Save button. Here you’ve the options include hidden and system objects in the generated HTML file.
It doesn’t take too much time your HTML file will be ready with in seconds which you can view in your browser, save to your hard drive or email to your friend. Generated HTML files shows snapshot of folder name taken and number of files and folders in selected directory, total file size generated date and time.
Snap2HTML works on Windows XP/Vista/7.
