How many of you still using Yahoo Mail where Gmail and Hotmail keep releasing new features, perhaps you kept your Yahoo account active for chatting with your friends, Yahoo recently made available their new Yahoo Mail by removing Beta tag, if you don’t like the new design here is how to get back to old Yahoo Mail.

In fact, new Yahoo mail offers quite lot of features where users still like to use old Yahoo Mail, recently all users are upgraded to the new version and Yahoo didn’t even offers the option get back to the old one.
Getting back to Yahoo Mail Classic
Sign out of Yahoo Mail and close the Browser. Since new Yahoo Mail doesn’t support screen resolution below 1024*600 pixels, all you need to do is set your screen resolution to 800 *600.
Once you set that resolution (don’t worry you don’t need to sacrifice screen resolution/display settings for Yahoo Mail) sign into your Yahoo mail, Yahoo detects screen resolution and shows screen resolution problem page with links at the bottom to get back to previous version for all time and for once where you need to click on Return to a previous version of Yahoo Mail and you’ll be automatically downgraded to the Yahoo Mail classic.

Now change your screen resolution whatever used/set before. Whenever you changed your mind you can switch to new Mail easily by clicking on “Get the Newest Yahoo Mail” button on right side of the page, you need to click on Upgrade now button two times again. Remember you need to follow above procedure again to get back Yahoo Mail Classic.
Update 24/05/2013: Since Yahoo has closed Mail Classic version On Apr 30, you can still able to login to Yahoo mail and access old version. We’ve tested this method and its working. All you need to do is bookmark the below link and visit whenever you want to access Classic version. Thanks to Islam for letting us know about it.

Disabling JavaScript has the same effect, Yahoo! Mail will suggest you the older version. Later on, you can enable JS.

Best info yet! The only thing is….I still wish I had my yahoo messenger in here! I used that daily. Too bad they got rid of it. I have found no way to get it back.

how to downgraded swich to the Yahoo Mail classic 2013 , Yahoo stolen the button for compose, now you can just read emails with Y mail classic, if you want to compose just farward or reply an old email and change te receiver address it will work!

You won’t be able to access Yahoo Mail Classic through any workaournds mentioned above like changing screen resolution or disabling JavaScript because on April 30, this year Yahoo has closed classic version. For those who’re using this version will be prompted to switch to new version or instead basic HTML version of New mail will be served for denied users.
