We’d covered the first beta of ASC 5, IObit today released final version of Advanced SystemCare 5 with brand-new architecture and improvements over the older version and with the addition of Active Boost feature for real-time system optimization and initial support for Windows 8.
Cloud Technology and Active Boost feature
ASC 5 uses their Cloud technology to keep definitions and configurations always up-to-date, that way user’s PC is better protected and optimized. The key new feature addition in this release is “Active Boost”, technology that actively runs in the background intelligently managing system resources in real-time, constantly detecting inactive resources and optimizing CPU and RAM usage.
Using Advanced SystemCare 5
After installing the program, welcome screen asks you to select the skin, here you can only select either default or white skin, but later from Skins section you’ve choice to choose from four skins of colors: Cute. Black, Metal and White.
ASC divides functions into four categories: Quick Care, Deep Care Toolbox and Turbo Boost (turned off by default). ASC detects and shows PC Health status and recommends you to perform Deep Care if Poor is displayed as health status for you.
The first, Quick Care performs a series of rapid checks that can be run on a daily basis; the second, Deep Care provides a thorough analysis of the PC’s state of health and carries out security and vulnerability fixes, tweaks and improvements, defrags the registry and cleans-up junk files;
The third section, Toolbox, contains over 20 easy-to-use utilities offering even more PC maintenance power and the fourth section, Turbo Boost, turns off non-essential resources with one-click, delivering even more performance capacity when it’s needed most.
Undoing registry changes and system optimizations done by ASC
If you want to undone registry changes made by ASC to your System you can do that by using restore points shown in Rescue Center, similarly here you can restore system optimizations to default under Rescue System Optimization by clicking on “ Restore to Windows Default”.
Advanced SystemCare 5 available in free and pro versions. Advanced SystemCare Free 5 offers basic PC optimization and protection. ASC5 installations uninstalls ASC4 and installs ASC5 if you install over ASC 4 in your Computer.
