If you’re using Yahoo Web Messenger to chat with your friends with online without using desktop client of Yahoo Messenger here is bad news for you, Yahoo is discontinuing their web messenger after November 1, 2011.

Reasons for Yahoo Web Messenger Discontinuity

Yahoo says latest version of Yahoo Mail offers Web messenger experience to the users,”thanks to the latest version of Yahoo! Mail launched earlier this year, users can now easily IM and SMS with Yahoo! Messenger in Yahoo Mail with only a web browser, centralizing their emails, IMs, and SMS messages in one easy location. This feature in Yahoo! Mail made Yahoo! Web Messenger somewhat obsolete.”

Yahoo feels increasing number of users using Yahoo Messenger desktop clients for Windows PC, Mac, Mobile and tablet devices. You can download Yahoo Messenger and experience the new features in it.

You will be losing MORE customers this way than you’ll EVER gain back. Millions and millions of us are SICK and TIRED of having to learn a new system, but because you think it’s easier for YOU to do so. PLEASE, can’t you leave well enough alone?

No problem yahoo we’ll just go some where else to tale with our friends…. Can you say Pal Talk… Can you say hoe tail or msn…. the lists will be out of where to go. Yahoo watch your stocks and we wont come back…..

your new thing is not an open live chat where you can see many rooms
like yahoo messenger is now..
I dont want a chat program where I only see 1 other user..
I want an open chat program
