There are several Windows Startup Monitor programs available lets you control the way programs load on startup, there is case where malware do configure themselves to run at Windows startup which may not known or notified by Windows while installing some programs, its always better to keep an eye on startup programs list as too many programs loading on startup may also slows down loading of windows which you don’t want, StartupEye is freeware program runs transparently and notifies you when any program registers to run at startup.

Using StartupEye

Download and install  the program to your Computer. From now onwards this program monitors registry entry, “HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run”  and whenever if you install any program or if malware adds it self to this entry to run at startup, program alarms you with registry changed and shows the added program details like registry changed time and its program path and lets you delete the program from startup list.

If you want to allow that program click “OK” button, until you click Ok alarming goes on, if you won’t allow that program to register, the program’s entry becomes deleted. The best part of the program is alarming the user when registry change is detected, not so many monitoring programs offers this feature.
