We’ve covered Piriform going to release CCleaner for Mac soon and the first beta of CCleaner for Mac is released and available for download for Mac users from Piriform site. Piriform promises for new releases of its cleaning tool for Mac for every few weeks and final version will be out in a month or two according to Piriform blog.
Piriform added Cleaning capabilities for Safari, Firefox browsers and Cleans Recent Files, Trash, Servers and Temporary folder. Since this is beta version, CCleaner for Mac may contain bugs and is intended for advanced users only.
This Beta release works on Mac OSX 10.5 and 10.6 and with Firefox and Safari current version browsers.

Mac users don’t need it. You can use OnyX which is free or Cocktail, which I prefer but costs something, but we really don’t need CCleaner, even though when I was using windows many moons ago before coming over to the right side, not the dark side, I used it.
