We’ve covered the public beta release of Norton Internet Security 2012 and Norton Antivirus 2012, for a change, I downloaded and installed NIS 2012 Beta into my Computer and started using to see how it works. So far so good, every now and then, I saw ‘Norton Autofix’ popup came up when program encountered any problem by showing an error and it automatically fixes it by scanning for programs installation or configuration issues.
Running AutoFix in Norton Internet Security 2012
Norton Autofix is Norton’s In-product support Experience, which runs when you run into problems with Norton Internet Security such as program may never start, or shows an error and program stops working.
In the above cases, you can run Autofix by opening Norton Internet Security User interface, click Support > click “Get Support”, Norton Autofix will scan for installation and configuration issues in NIS and fixes automatically if it can, otherwise offers the link to visit the support website for assistance to browse for solution in Forum or for live chat to support staff.
