How to Block Websites using Avast 6 Free Antivirus

As we covered Avast 6 Free antivirus beta has been released, can’t wait more installed it and here about the Site Blocking feature that existed in paid versions of Avast Products now available to free users as well. Site Blocking feature in Avast allows to block sites from viewed in your browser.

Blockings websites using Avast

1. Open Avast User interface, click “Additional Protection” module on the left to expand and click “Site Blocking” .

2. Enter the URL of web address on the page and click “Add” to block that site by Avast in your Computer.

3. When you try to access blocked website in any browser, Avast web shield shows warning that site is blocked.

Avast Site Blocking feature helps parents to block porn sites from accessed by Children.

Yes it is right it blocks any website address but any one can easily disable that feature in avast.so if you want to get succeed in site blocking in avast you must set password to avast.
