Microsoft SharedView free screen sharing application from Microsoft allows to share your documents and screen views remotely with your team members, friends and colleagues.Want to show your final design of project document to your team members you can start a session and invite up to 15 participants to share it.
Important points to be considered on using SharedView
- However to start a session user need to have Windows Live ID , to join that session participants won’t required to have Windows Live ID they can join session with any email id or with their name.
- Any user can install Microsoft SharedView in their Computers however you need to sign into program with Windows Live ID to start sessions and share your documents,entire desktop or a particular application.
- Of course internet connection is required .
How to use Microsoft SharedView
After installing SharedView in your Computer , SharedView will be shown on the top of screen in your desktop, click SharedView button for drop down menu you need to sign in using Windows Live ID and password.
Starting session: To start session click “start session” and SharedView will give you the details to send instructions to participants with either link or with session name and password.After you notified your friends about session details click “Start” button.
After you entered the session you will observe number of participants joined , handouts, share button to share application or screen, message box to type your message to all participants. Clicking “share” button will show all running applications, you can select any application or entire desktop and click start to share particular screen view and follow the instructions on the screen.
Microsoft SharedView is freeware and very easy to use.No technical expertise required to use this application.
