There will be plenty of reasons for a browser to crash may be due to using older version of browser, out dated extensions, plug-ins and viruses and spywares  and of course some applications that are incomparable with browser leads to crash.

Google recommends temporarily disabling following software to avoid Chrome from crashing.

List of Software crashes Chrome

  • Venturi  firewall
  • WinMount
  • PPLive
  • NVIDIA network access manager
  • NVIDIA NTune
  • iS3 Anti Spyware
  • SpeedBit  Video Accelerator
  • Folder Guide

If  your Chrome browser crashing frequently then check whether you  are using any one of listed applications and try to temporary disable them.

Though other software  has incompatibilities with Chrome you  can resolve them without disabling entire software.

Fixes for Chrome crashes

Fix for IDM:If you are using Internet Download manager try to disable  advanced browser integration with in IDM by going through  General>options

Fix for NVIDIA Desktop Explorer :If you are using NVIDIA Desktop explorer try to remove nvshell.dll library with mentioned steps

If you are using FolderSize try the fix here.If you have NOD32 version 2.7 , upgrade to it’s  latest version or disable internet monitoring in NOD32 2.7.

Fix for malware that crashes Chrome: To find and remove culprit  libraries Start>Run>type CMD and check in %windir%\system32 for userlib.dll, tcpipdog0.dll ,tcpipdog1.dll, tcpipdog3.dll files and remove them if you found.

Search and remove for userinit32.exe  if found use link to remove it.

I have been using Chrome for over a year and am so frustrated with it. Most crashes occur while using FB Frontierville, but there are other times that just browsing has caused a crash. HELP!

Good afternoon
I try to reinstall Google Chrome in my laptop and when I execute it appears:
“The instalation can’t start correctly (ox00000a5).”
Appears in spanish, sorry about my english.

chrome crashes with most FB apps. getting tired of doing a force shutdown every time this happens. everything is up to date and am using microsoft security essentials. had AVG but it also crashed my computer. there is no malware, adware, or spyware on my PC.
