Let’s take a let how to use this Single-Use code to sign into Windows Live (Hotmail) accounts on public Computers
As I already covered hotmail users can receive free alerts on their mobile , first you need to add your phone to your Windows Live account ID to take ownership of your account.Your mobile plays key role in receiving verification codes , password reset codes and single use codes.
Now when you need to check your emails in Windows Live on a public Computer,
- Open windows live sign-in page and click Get in Single-Use code to sign in with link which appears right after Sign in button.
- Now on the next page enter your Windows Live ID and click Request a code
- Select your Country and enter your Phone number and select ” I agree to terms and conditions” click Send text message
- Now the single use code will be sent to your mobile which you can use by clicking Enter the code.
Remember that code is useful for one time login , you can request another single use code if you want .
