As we all know Search box on Windows 7’s start menu allows to search for programs and files located in your Computer, but do you know apart from that you can also able to search Google right from Windows 7 Start menu.
To Search Google from Windows 7’s start menu
1.Click Start button and type gpedit.msc in the search box and hit Enter which opens Local Group Policy Editor.
2.Now in the Local Group Policy Editor on the left pane select User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components, select Instant Search appearing on the left pane
3.Now on the right pane select Custom Instant Search Internet Provider, right click on it and click Edit and set it as Enabled.
4.Under the options in the first box type Search Google or whatever you like and in the second box paste http://www.google.com/search?q=%w as it is, click Apply, Ok to save changes
5.Restart your Computer, now if you type anything in search box you can observe search in Google above the search box.From now on just type the query in the search box and hit search in Google button which opens results in your default browser.
