Telnet, simple text-based program allows users to connect to another Computer remotely through command prompt window by using the Internet.User can only connect to another Computer if owner or adminstrator of the Computer grants permission.By entering few commands user can able to access programs and applciations on the remote Computer.
By default Telnet is not installed in Windows 7 and Vista,
To install Telnet in Windows 7
- Click Start button>Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features>Turn Windows features on or off (enter administrator password if prompted).
- In the Windows features dialog box , select Telnet Client and click OK to install Telnet Client in your Computer.
