Opera 10.5 pre-alpha has been released with its new JavaScript engine Carakan, supports CSS3 and HTML5, private tab and private windows have been added for Private browsing. This Opera pre-alpha version will support Windows 7 and its features like Aero glass, Aero peek and jumplists. Opera 10.5 pre–alpha versions available for Windows and Mac, while Unix/Linux builds will be released later.

Though this Pre-alpha released aimed at developers for feedback and also not a stable version. But users can try it to explore  it’s cool new features.

1.New private tab and Private window are added to File menu to surf web privately without saving browsing history on user’s computer.

2.By default file menu will be hidden by default, user should enable it by clicking Opera button on top and clicking “Show Menu Bar”.

3. Opera launches its fastest JavaScript engine, Carakan with this pre–alpha release. Carakan runs JavaScript faster and runs latest web apps smoothly.

4.Presto 2.5 rendering engine supports latest HTML5 and CSS3 technologies.

5. Vega new graphics library brings graphics acceleration to both UI and web pages.

6. Opera search bar remembers the searches performed by users and browser history can be cleared by clicking “Delete Private Data “ from Tools menu.
