From security point of view Windows XP sp2 provides the features like Firewall , automatic updates and Anti-virus settings in your Computer. The Security Center also gives some warnings when the anti-virus is not up to date and your automatic updates are turned off.

So what about if your PC is not connected to Internet and you are not wanting to get these visual warnings take look how to disable these Security alert notifications.

1.start click Control panel  and click security center    double click it ,it opens Windows Security Center in a new window .

2.Then click change the way security Center alerts me .

3.Then uncheck the option you do not want to appear.
